Cara Membuat VLAN Pada Cisco

VLAN disebut juga virtual LAN, pada tutorial kali ini akan dijelaskan bagaiman membuat VLAN pada CISCO.
disini saya memakai simulasi CISCO yaitu Packet Tracer V5, sedangkan definisi VLAN adalah sekelompok
host dengan suatu set umum persyaratan yang berkomunikasi seolah-olah mereka terikat pada domain
broadcast yang sama, terlepas dari lokasi fisik mereka.
Kita akan membuat 3 vlan yaitu :
1. vlan 10 dosen
2. vlan 20 mahasiswa
3. vlan 30 karyawan

Definisikan ip address gateway di router dengan membuat interface virtual :

Untuk Gateway VLAN 10
Router>enable
Router#configure terminal
Router(config)#interface fa0/0.10
Router(config-subif)#encapsulation dot1Q 10
Router(config-subif)#ip address 192.168.10.254 255.255.255.0
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#exit

Untuk Gateway VLAN 20
Router>enable
Router#configure terminal
Router(config)#interface fa0/0.20
Router(config-subif)#encapsulation dot1Q 20
Router(config-subif)#ip address 192.168.20.254 255.255.255.0
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#exit

Untuk Gateway VLAN 30
Router>enable
Router#configure terminal
Router(config)#interface fa0/0.30
Router(config-subif)#encapsulation dot1Q 30
Router(config-subif)#ip address 192.168.30.254 255.255.255.0
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#exit

Lalu kita setting switchnya, langkah-langkahnya sebagai berikut :
Definisikan Vlan :
Switch#vlan database
Switch(vlan)#vlan 10 name Dosen
Switch(vlan)#vlan 20 name Mahasiswa
Switch(vlan)#vlan 30 name Karyawan

Delegasikan port untuk mengakses tiap-tiap Vlan yang sudah didefinisikan :
Switch>enable
Switch#configure terminal
Switch(config)#interface fa0/1 -> Menuju router
Switch(config-if)#switchport mode trunk
Switch(config-if)#exit
Switch(config)#interface fa0/2 -> Menuju PC Dosen
Switch(config-if)#switchport access vlan 10
Switch(config-if)#exit
Switch(config)#interface fa0/3 -> Menuju PC Mahasiswa
Switch(config-if)#switchport access vlan 20
Switch(config-if)#exit
Switch(config)#interface fa0/4 -> Menuju PC Karyawan
Switch(config-if)#switchport access vlan 30
Switch(config-if)#exit
Verifikasi vlan :
Switch#show vlan

How to make Vlan on Cisco

VLAN is also called virtual LANs, in this tutorial will explain how create a VLAN on CISCO.
Here I use simulator CISCO Packet Tracer V5, while the definition of a VLAN is a group of hosts with a common set of requirements that communicate as if they were bound to the domain
broadcast equally, regardless of their physical location.
We will make 3 vlan :
1. vlan 10 lecturer
2. vlan 20 student
3. vlan 30 employee

Define ip address gateway on router and create virtual interface :

for Gateway VLAN 10
Router>enable
Router#configure terminal
Router(config)#interface fa0/0.10
Router(config-subif)#encapsulation dot1Q 10
Router(config-subif)#ip address 192.168.10.254 255.255.255.0
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#exit

for Gateway VLAN 20
Router>enable
Router#configure terminal
Router(config)#interface fa0/0.20
Router(config-subif)#encapsulation dot1Q 20
Router(config-subif)#ip address 192.168.20.254 255.255.255.0
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#exit

for Gateway VLAN 30
Router>enable

Router(config)#interface fa0/0.30

Then we will configure the switch, here step by step :
Definie Vlan :
Switch#vlan database
Switch(vlan)#vlan 10 name Lecturer
Switch(vlan)#vlan 20 name Student
Switch(vlan)#vlan 30 name Employee

Delegate the port for each Vlan which we define before :
Switch>enable
Switch#configure terminal
Switch(config)#interface fa0/1 -> to router
Switch(config-if)#switchport mode trunk
Switch(config-if)#exit
Switch(config)#interface fa0/2 -> to Lecturer PC
Switch(config-if)#switchport access vlan 10
Switch(config-if)#exit
Switch(config)#interface fa0/3 -> to Student PC
Switch(config-if)#switchport access vlan 20

Switch(config)#interface fa0/4 -> to Employee PC
Switch(config-if)#switchport access vlan 30
